Our Story
From humble beginnings to culinary excellence
Valicha, our Toowoomba-based culinary haven, is the creation of Melisa Valencia Diaz and Phill Routledge.
Our catering food trailer serves up a delightful array of Peruvian foods, sweets, and drinks, where each dish is a symphony of Spanish, Asian, Incan, and European influences.
Born from a profound love for Peruvian cuisine, Valicha exists to share the vibrant flavors of Peru with the Toowoomba community. Our offerings combine traditional recipes with modern twists, crafting an unforgettable dining experience.
Executive Chef Melisa, with her extensive experience and passion, infuses every dish with culinary magic. From our classic Lomo Saltado to innovative fusion creations, her expertise shines through. Meanwhile, Phill, our logistical maestro and chief dishwasher, ensures smoothly run, stress free, memorable events for every customer.
Important Note: Our food is not inherently spicy. The level of spiciness depends solely on the sauce choices made by the customer when ordering.
